Project Description
Set in the midst of a tight neighborhood, the Reddy residence looks inwards and opens up instead to the existing trees at site. The residence is clad with copper on the facade which over time will naturally change color – transforming from a shiny brown color to darker browns, then blues and finally greens after a number of years. The entry gate and various exterior screens are made of Corten Steel which adds to the distinctive features of this house.
The inside materials range from hand troweled concrete finishes on the wall in large panels separated by brass strips and Statuario Marble on the floors. Dark wood furniture and custom lights add the necessary warmth to this house.
